| Statistical
Process Control |
| |
| Process control status and trend data is obtained,
processed, posted, distributed, and used in each stage. Process
flow charts with SPC methods and current charts are available
on process control boards in production areas. |
| |
| Variable data for process capability control
(Cpk) is obtained whenever possible. X&R charts are used
to control and identify potential problems. |
| |
| Attribute characteristics are control charted
and Pareto defects corrected. Yield monitor data is used to
measure continuous improvement performance toward six sigma
goals. |
| |
| Any pre control trend or intolerable condition
is communicated immediately for correction. Additionally, operators
may stop any process producing or marginally close to producing
nonconforming product. |
| |
| Workmanship Standards |
| |
| ANSI/IPC 610C and other applicable IPC standards
are used unless denoted by the customer. Any deviation requires
both partied approval on the Deviation Request form. |
| |
| ESD Protection |
| |
| All sensitive materials, products, equipment,
surfaces and personnel areas are ESD protected. Work surfaces
either have dissipative laminates or properly grounded table
mats. Employees are required to wear wrist or heal straps when
handling material or products. The straps are tested and logged
daily. The procedure for ESD handling and control have been
established and enforced throughout the production area. |
| |
| Shipping |
| |
| Finished product is recorded and logged for
trace ability. Also, the customer may provide label, revs, or
bar codes that we will place on the finished product. Product
is packaged per customer instruction or by standard ESD packaging
and shipping procedures. Finished products are inspected to
make sure that that parts meet customer requirements and assembly
drawings. |
