MATERIAL

All production assembly units including component parts and hardware is consigned to the Work Order as owned and delivered by the customer. Incoming kits are checked against the Bill of Material (BOM) for accurate count, part identification, date codes, proper packaging and damage. The customer is contacted before the commencement of a job if discrepancies emerge. The customer is responsible for the condition and accuracy of the material as received by DPA Engineering. DPA Engineering will assist in defining and resolving discrepancies.

Material is identifies and sub-kited for release to the appropriate shop floor process. From this point on, DPA Engineering is responsible for the material. Proper ESD handling is enforced throughout the facility.

Engineering Design Review, Document Control and Job Planning

All Documents and electronic files are logged and controlled systematic processes. Stencils, test fixtures, placement programming and floor process travelers are prepared. A master job file is maintained and contains all customer documents. A working shop floor job file is assembled and released with the job providing clear definition and availability of production requirements throughout the process.
